Motivated by her dedication to the law and to civic responsibility, Ms. Myers has been actively involved in various legal, professional and non-profits boards and associations. In addition to her law practice, she currently focuses her civic efforts upon her volunteer work with Grand Valley State University. After serving for 8 years on GVSU’s Board of Trustees with a term as Chair of the Board, she continues her involvement with the University as a GVSU Foundation Trustee, a member of the Hauenstein Center’s Advisory Council and as a mentor in the Cook Leadership Academy.

Upon leaving a 30 year banking and investment career, Charles R. Myers attained his certification to open his private practice advising seniors with comprehensive investment and financial decision making, guiding them through the complexities unique to their life stage. His client compensation is strictly hourly based, not as a percentage of assets. As the law firm’s administrator, he manages all aspects of the firm’s accounting including investments, asset management, receivables, payables, payroll and tax accounting.
Charles has a long history of civic engagement, serving on Lowell’s City Council and various boards for 17 years including serving as the former Mayor of Lowell. Among numerous other past and current boards, Charles currently focuses his volunteer commitments upon the Kent District Library Board of Trustees (KDL), and has served as chair of that board for 8 years of his 16 years of board service.
